As we enter a new decade I am wondering are you following your True Northe......or do you need to find it? Or do you wonder what that may even mean and how it can apply to you and your life?

 

It is enlightening to reflect back on the last decade rather than the last year, it offers a whole new perspective as we invariably overestimate what we can achieve in a year and underestimate what is possible in 10.

 

For me the last ten years bares witness to a great deal of change and transformation both personally and professionally. I can honestly say that I have been walking my talk and travelling a path of great growth, challenge and purpose. But by no means has this been an easy, seamless process.

 

In the last decade I have gained a lot and I have lost a lot. I have sat with death and celebrated birth and my heart has broken a few times. I have grieved for both my parents and experienced the ending of a relationship which began nearly 27 years ago. My physical appearance has changed, my name is different, my children have grown, I have written a book, run a marathon and travelled to breathtaking destinations externally and internally.

 

I have been blessed and I have faced huge challenges and I am sure you can say the same. So as you stand in this new decade and many paths lay before you, may I encourage you to consider your choice of direction?

 

Whichever path you take, your soul compass will always point to your TRUE NORTHE ... are you listening?

This path may not be easy, it may not be clear and it may take all your determination, discernment and courage to follow it.....however, I believe it will always be worth it.

 

Following my own True Northe is proving to be challenging and blissful - I am hugely grateful for the opportunities it has given me and I would like to invite you to peel back the layers and not only find your True Northe, but find your True Self.
